Est 2009, Iron360 Pty. Ltd. is an Oilfield Engineering Machine Shop specializing in repairs to
down hole drilling equipment.

We specialize in the manufacture and repair of cross over subs & repairs to related drilling equipment including Drill collars, Drill pipe, Stabilizers, handling equipment, non-magnetic directional drilling equipment & downhole motors.
We machine a large range of API Threads, non-API oilfield threads and mineral threads. We carry API traceable gauges including NC23-NC50, 2-3/8″ REG to 7-5/8″ REG, 3-1/2″ FH to 6-5/8″ FH, 5-1/2″ IF, see services for a full list.

API Threads
All rotary shoulder connections are machined to exacting specifications as per latest API spec 7-2 & DS1 editions.
We carry API traceable gauges for connections below.

All connections are gauged & inspected to meet the relevant standard. All critical dimensions are recorded on a data log and presented as part of a QA package & certificate of conformance.
Manufacture
All rotary cross over subs, swages, circulation subs, lift subs, lifting nubbins, are manufactured using material that meets the requirements of API spec 7-1.
We stock 4140, 4145H, in sizes 92mm, 106mm, 116mm, 130mm, 170mm
All material is fully traceable to serial numbers stamped on each manufactured item.
Material certificates are supplied as part of a QA package & certificate of conformance.
API Thread Surface Treatment
All carbon steel rotary shoulder connections are treated with Zinc phosphate coating, for corrosion and galling protection
All non-magnetic / stainless steel rotary shoulder connections are glass bead blasted, for galling protection
Drill Pipe Straightening
Drill pipe straightening up to 5-1/2″ OD
Drill collar straightening up to 4-3/4″ OD
Break Out Machine
Break out and make up tools with an NOV torque master BOM,
14″ capacity, Maximum make up torque 150,000 ft/lbs, Maximum Break out torque 190,000 ft/lbs
